Welcome to a Greener America

The National Sustainability Coalition brings together environmental scientists and engineers, corporate leaders, business professionals, educators and award-winning trainers to foster sustainability among small and diverse businesses in America.

As one of our first initiatives, the NS Coalition is “greening the American supply chain.” Working with government agencies and major corporations, we are delivering resources, training tools and technical assistance to help diverse entrepreneurs and small businesses achieve three major competencies — sustainability knowledge, environmental management skills and the ability to “go green.”

At the core of the Coalition’s initiative is a dynamic web-based program that provides training and technical assistance to develop a sustainability plan. A certification process ensures that policies, practices and systems put into place are functional and not just self-proclamations; and that they have been verified by an independent third-party.
